Fire Combat

As implied in our title, we fight the negative impacts of fires. We're highly engaged in our studies and training to be prepared to protect life and property from the destruction of fire. Our focus is dedicated to understanding commercial, residential, vehicle, and wildland fires.

Medical Support

Every member of the Quartzsite Fire District is trained as an EMT and nearly every firefighter has advanced their level of training to the highest pre-hospital certification, the paramedic level. with this education and training, we are knowledged and skilled to provide assistance to almost every medical emergency.

Swift Water Rescue

Throughout our community we have low-level areas, flood plains, and a number of washes that can easily become hazardous during the monsoon season, It is important to us, therefore, to be equipped and trained to perform any swift water rescue safely and effectively.
